There are two tools for rotating text. The Rotate button on the Graphics Tab contains four rotation options. The Custom Rotation tool, located on the Effects Tab, allows for custom text rotation.

Text Rotation

1.Single click anywhere on the edge of the text box. (Small black dots will surround it, indicating it was selected.)

2. Open the Rotate drop-down menu and make a selection.

3. Single click anywhere outside the text box to deselect it. To return it to normal orientation, repeat steps 1 and 2 and select "0" from the drop-down menu.

Custom Text Rotation (make sure "Enable Text Effects" has been activated on the Effects Tab.

1. After "Enable Text Effects" has been activate, two black lines above and below the text will appear.

2. Press the Rotate button.

3. Place your cursor on one of the corner dots. Holding down the left mouse, pull or push the text box in a circular motion until the text is in the desired rotation.

4. Single click anywhere outside the text box to deselect it.
